MannSaver Airbag Restraint System

Airbags are an integral part of car crashworthiness.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that airbags save thousands of lives each year, yet airbags that fail to deploy or do no deploy in accidents can cause serious injuries, some of them fatal.

The MannSaver Airbag Restraint System was developed to protect Emergency Service Personnel and victims in the event of a delayed airbag deployment.  In the event of an automobile accident, the driver's side airbag does not always deploy, leaving the first responders and victims at risk of serious injury or even death.

The MannSaver is designed to fit over the steering sheel after an accident, restraining the airbag and directing it away from first responders and victims should it deploy during extrication or search of the vehicle.
